End of prawn suspension and import conditions for prawns and prawn products for human consumption

The import suspension on uncooked prawns lapsed on Thursday 6th July 2017. Enhanced import conditions will be implemented today Friday 7 July 2017, to allow for safe trade in prawns and prawn products, to meet Australia’s appropriate level of protection (ALOP).
